| The Worst Thing About Your Senior Year Of High School . . . | | My son is graduating this year. He couldn't be happier. It was a good year, except that he regrets not participating in school sports, even though he's a great athlete. He plays in a band and he got caught up in concerts, short tours and whatnot. Anyhow, the worst of it though, was the construction that went on in his school for the whole year. Half the school was fenced off while they built a new parking lot, office and cafeteria. Even the pool was reconstructed. I'm amazed the students didn't have to wear hard hats to school and no accidents happened (the latter being a good thing, of course). What was the worst thing about your high school senior year? | |
| | Living Dangerously from the Heights. | | Believe me,they work high up in the sky without harness. Sometimes they wear no hard hats nor industrial boots.These workers work for a miserable sum of money and put their life at risk everyday at the work sites.Locals are fearful of such work. Neither do they have adequate skills suitable for the building industry. So, these Indonesian workers and lately, those from Bangladesh have come to fill these dangerous jobs. It is sad that when tragedy strikes, they are just mere statistics. So do you have foreign workers in the building industry such as in Malaysia and in Dubai? | |
| | you realise the lhc in france switzerland only fired a proton in one direction | | of course there was no experienced change in the fabric of the universe as the lhc fired up and sent a proton at just less than the speed of light circleing the narrow passageway. they have yet to send a proton in the other direction. that's the next test. once they have reached that goal, they feel it will be nessecary to endanger the lives of all on our planet. they don't know the consequences of such a collision . that's why they call it an experiment. where will you be when the thing fires up for the final test. do you think they'll warn us? put your hard hats on. and grab you butt. i'm no rocket scientist but i think they are fooling with something they shouldn't touch upon. what do you feel about the subject of possible complete annihilation of mankind in one big snap of the universal continuity? i look forward to reading some of the responses i get and i am sure there will be many. this effects us all. rich or poor, all nations of the world, i am sure all will be watching with great annimosity and trepidations. i'll lay a bet it all comes down to dec 21 2012, call me what you will, but i have seen the end of all things, spiritually. when... | |

Now THIS sounds like something worth doing! lol. | | I have just read a brief reference to an event that was held at a fiesta in Castejon, Northern Spain in July of this year. It was called "Destruction Therapy" and was aimed at helping people relieve stress in the workplace. Basically the general public were handed hard hats and sledge hammers; and were then allowed to pretty much smack the living crap out of a whole field full of strategically placed refrigerators, cars and televisions!Sounds therapeutic to me! lol. I reckon there would have been a large number of VERY satsified and calm people leaving that event at the end of the day! So am I twisted for seeing the joy in participating in an event like this? Or would you too LOVE to have the chance to smack the absolute heck out of stuff like these people were given the chance to? | |

each side of our house for better cross ventilation. New

| | How do you react to woldf whistles? | | I walked past a building site today (yes, I know it's a cliche!) and an attractive young woman in front of me attracted a lot of attention from the guys in hard hats! There was a barrage of wolf whistles.

| | The "sexy" job | | What type of job do you consider "sexy"? Well, apart from stripping, of course. I often come across articles in girly magazines that say that a lot of ladies respect chefs and find their jobs "sexy". Probably because they know how to use their hands well? LOL I don't know. Anyways, there are also others who find construction work sexy. I can almost imagine what's running through those ladies' minds --- bare chested males in hard hats LOL What are your thoughts on these? Share! Discuss! | |
| | So many things in our lives keep changing,, Are we still the same? | | As i have gotten older, I have noticed all the green areas are being filled with new houses, The children aren't safe to play in the streets and so many things are changing, I remembered this poem I wrote quite some time ago . I went out in my car today
It's where my troubles fade away
It's a shame so many flowers are dead
But the trees are shades of rusts and reds

From little acorns they began
