| When No Fail Fudge Fails | | My usual cooking mojo got up and left last night. Now I have some chocolate cement. I didn't use my usual recipe because the cook book I use is in pieces right now and used the fluff jar recipe instead. Of course it hasn't deterred me from wanting to try No Fail Divinity. It doesn't look like we're going to get a clear day around here so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm even willing to make my peanut butter fudge despite this set back.
So any suggestions what to do with chocolate cement besides Building Material? I've never had it do this before but maybe someone else has and knows how to fix it.

| | painted walls! | | do you think you could build a house from mud?in some parts of the world thats exactly how people make their houses.in places where there is life, where there is little rain, mud is an ideal building material.it is used to build all kinds of houses-from tiny huts to large mansions.some of the mud houses in india look like palaces!huge, colourful wall pictures,or murals, decorate the outside walls.wonderful designs of gods, men and elephants stand out from the white backgrounds to make each street look like a giant picture book.many old houses in germany and switzerland are painted too.just like the murals in india, they show pictures from religious stories or from folk tales. | |
| | Which is your favorite lighthouse and why? | | Just read this interesting tidbit:Mechanization and improved technology have made lighthouse keepers
unnecessary. Today, all of the lighthouses in the United States have
been automated, except the one at Boston, Massachusetts, which still
has keepers for sentimental reasons only. Boston Light was the first
one built on U.S. shores. My favorite lighthouse is on St. Simons Island, GA and I saw it for the first time in 1974. It is my favorite lighthouse because it was the first lighthouse I ever saw in person. I lived here from 1974 - 1975, so it will always hold a place in my heart. Here is a description of the lighthouse:Description: The beautiful two-story, brick keepers' dwelling and the white, 104-foot tower on St. Simons Island today seem like the idyllic light station. Such was not always the case. Stagnant ponds on the island provided the perfect breeding grounds for disease-carrying mosquitoes. The station was considered isolated before being linked to the mainland, and one of the head keepers was murdered on the lighthouse grounds. John Couper, owner of a plantation on the southern end of St. Simons Island, sold four acres of his land in 1804 to the...

| | Let's plant more Trees | | Trees are important resources. They provide us with wood, which is not only an important building material, but also indispensable in making paper, furniture, matches and many other useful things.Without trees,we would perhaps still be living in caves, and our life would be very miserable. | |
| | People always think they are right. Agree? | | While expressing opinion people over stress their point of view. People talk about the positive aspects of their decisions to show/ prove how intelligent they are and also to avoid " being looked as a Fool ". The negative aspects of the decisions will not be discussed. So opinion gathered by talking to people will be biased. Say for example if we talk to someone regarding his choice of place to buy his house, his choice to buy a car, the type of furniture he bought, the types of Building material he used etc … every person will just prove and justify his decision is the best! This becomes one of the major drawbacks in opinion survey exercises. | |
